Where's the Gig?—Ran across a really useful tool I was going to build myself, and now I don't have to. Where's the Gig? is a free online shared calendar for your band. It's easy to use, and is likely to become even moreso: I sent a suggestion to creator Ethan Brown, and within minutes (yes, minutes) it was implemented. Now, I'm not implying Ethan will customize this free tool for anyone who happens along (we don't know each other at all) but it raises my expectations for the quality of the tool. And you just have to read the official "Where's the Gig?" donation guide. It's a suggestion for a donation scheme that actually makes sense. I'm going to steal it.
